Next Generation Processing is a Sterile Processing Training Program that offers a Sterile Processing Training Course designed to prepare students for employment as a Sterile Processing Technician.
Our Program
We have been in the business for over 10 Years. Next Generation Processing offers a 16 week program that covers anatomy & physiology, microbiology, and infection control. Our course also includes decontamination and the sterilization processing; how to handle, care for and identify surgical instruments. Our program provides both classroom training and clinical exposure to the Sterile Processing Department.
Sterile Processing Technicians play a vital role in healthcare, as they are responsible for maintaining sterile medical instruments and environments.
Sterile processing is "the center of all activity involving supplies and equipment needed for surgery and other patient care areas".
As a sterile processing technician you are responsible for decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, disassembling, packaging, and sterilizing reusable medical instruments and/or devices in a healthcare facility that are essential for patient safety.
